Ahhhh, Friday night is almost as good as Saturday. Oliver, our cat, and I are home alone. He's asleep in my Mama Bear Chair and I'm relaxing in the recliner with my laptop.
No radio, no television, no noise except an occasional vehicle on Main Street or a neighbor's dog barking. The quietness of the evening is welcomed. Energetic, rambuntious, talkative 5-6 year olds can make one yearn for just a wee bit---oh, come on Hannah---a whole lot of peace and quiet!
Rosy is bowling and Maggie is at a friend's birthday party...yes, a boy/girl birthday party with dancing. I can't wait to hear her rendition of the shindig. I can promise you it will be one of great interest. The possible theme of the party could be "Who's who and who's through." It doesn't seem possible that my baby doesn't need me to walk her in and stay with her at the party. Yep, those days are history.
I might even try to put some other pictures on here if the stillness of the house doesn't lull me to sleep.
